Realign your focus this year back onto Jesus.
Hebrews 12:2 says that we need to be looking to Jesus, the author and the finisher of our faith.
He has begun a good work in you and he wants it to continue this year!!!
Today we're all about bringing your attention back upon God! Can I have your attention?
Distractions are all around us. Distractions from vision, distractions from whom God really is, distractions from his power and his word for your life, so it's time to set your spiritual eyes back upon Jesus.
He's the only one who matters, it's all about him!
If you don't have your eyes focused upon him, then it's on something else !
There is plenty of meaningless stuff that can wrap up our attention. It can be simple things but if they take your attention and focus from Jesus, then it's time to reset your priorities!
1 Cor 9:24 talks about our lives being in a race, and all of us run it for a prize. Make sure that the prize you've got, the vision, the goal you've got, is Jesus! He is the ultimate prize!
Paul said that 'this one thing I do, forsaking everything else, I run to win the prize of the high calling, which is found in Jesus Christ!!'
Your year will have definite vision, when Jesus is the true reason your running.
Philipians 3:13-14 "I press towards the mark/goal/the prize…" Like an arrow aimed directly at the centre of a target!
Jesus said that the road to life was narrow and straight. It's a road you don't want to be distracted from, which could cause you to veer off to one side or another.
Let's make a whole hearted commitment to follow Jesus this year!! and remember, to follow someone successfully, you need to keep your eyes on where their heading!!
Try following someone and then take your eyes off them, like in the old private eye movies, and you end up losing the person your after!
Jesus said follow me, not anything else!
If we keep our focus on him this year, then I guarantee you, you'll be led towards all that's good for your life!!!!

To go anywhere you need a plan. To achieve your goals you need to set them clearly in front of your eyes!! Don't wander goalless through life. Set some targets. Paul said, its like a man who runs a race to win a prize. He's running with the prize firmly in his sights. He wants it, he desires it and this desire propels him on to work hard enough, to train hard enough to obtain it! Stir up the gift.

This is the moment to unearth your potential. Potential is one of those words that talks of the promise of God for our lives. It's like the story of the man with the talents who having one, buried it out of fear of losing it but as the story shows, by burying it, he did lose it! Potential needs developing and encouraging in bucket loads! Do something with what Gods given you. If your an encourager, encourage! If your a helper, help! Gear up for the possibilities Gods bringing your way!!!

The word says make your plans clear so anyone can see it!! Get your faith up! Get Your hope up! Get your dreams in focus! Your mentality needs to be renewed to go for you dreams and to strive for the VISION Gods put in your heart!
Don't sit back and say it's not possible. Put aside the endless Distractions to your goal! Put aside Disinterest as it will eat at your potential and make you barren! Put Distance between you and past failures and don't give up on your journey towards success in this year!

Believe me, God's got something for you! Catch the vision and write it in front of your eyes this year! It's time to get up and go!!

Isaiah 51:16

"Open thy mouth and I will fill it!"

You can get to a place where your convinced its impossible!
Yet that's a lie!
Nothing is impossible with God.
Word of faith is what we live in and by.
Your belief system gets eroded by failure but faith acts
To restore your life back out of the impossibility trap.
See by faith! We walk by faith not by sight!

Romans 10:6

God says this "but the word is very close to you! (Jesus being the
Living word of God)"
In your mouth and in your heart that, YES you CAN do it!!
It's not impossible!!
Faith says it is.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God!
That's why it's so good good good that God says that
He puts HIS word in our mouths!!
We don't need to go up to heaven to bring Christ down
To us, we don't need to go to hell to bring him back, he's risen
From the dead and defeated death for us,
The living word is within us!
By believing and confessing that God raised up Jesus from
The dead, we have salvation and enter into the
WORD of FAITH zone!!

Gods word needs to be constantly at work in your life. The words not dead, that's
The letter of the law, but it is active like yeast in bread dough.
It's alive, it's quickened by the spirit and produces FAITH in you!!

God says 'open your mouth and I will fill it!'

We should all be like hungry little birds with wide open
Beaks, looking to grab anything and everything that goes in
There! If your hungry for God, if your thirsty for his presence, then he IS GOING TO FILL YOU!!

The word of God is in you so you CAN do it!!!
You can do it, within you that word burns like an eternal flame that's
Just waiting to be released into dynamic action in your life and the
Lives of those that you share Gods word with!
God says "my word shall not return to me void and empty but it shall
Accomplish that which I've sent it to do!!"
It also says that "my word runs swiftly, speedily to fulfill what I've sent it to do!"
Sometimes it seems that your waiting forever to have the fulfillment
Of Gods word in your life, but actually that's only because we work and
Look at things through the eyes and timing of the human realm we walk in.
Gods word is at work in you and you need to keep speeding it on by
Your responses of faith and firm belief in that word.
Isaiah 55:11
"so shall my word be that goeth out of my mouth: it SHALL NOT return unto me
Void, but it shall accomplish that which I please and it SHALL prosper
In the thing where to I sent it!!"

Exodus 35:5 vs 21-22

The desire to do!
Willingness - a desire to do something without force!

Does God have to drag you kicking and screaming over the touch line of heaven?
Does God have to twist your spiritual arm up your back to get you to respond to him?
Does your attitude say that you really want involved in the process of becoming more like him?

Psalm 110:3 says "Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power". The word says THY people - those that are identified as Gods people, they are meant to be willing hearted.
I.e. "as many as were willing, gave!"
